I first watched its anime last year, and my uncontrollable excitement and curiosity led me to its manga.

This is your usual high school romance but with a much more deeper love story you will be mesmerized with. It is unlikely that you will come across another of such stories ever.

The plot was very well planned. There were no plot holes at all. I'm not a huge fan of japanese fantasy but after reading this, I got interested. The theme was very different and showed all aspects of life and love. At first, it was comparatively light, but as the story later developed, it got very interesting.

The one theme that was very unique and odd was immortality. The manga portrayed the feelings of Tomoe so nicely that it all felt real. The way he wanted to die, sick and tired of living a life where there is no end. The explanation was inspiring but yet bittersweet.

The female lead, Nanami, is a very charming, cheerful and optimistic character. In the early  chapters, it is mostly about her re-adjusting her life and getting familiar with her new surroundings. There were many scenarios which were confusing in the first few episodes, but there is an explanation later in the story. And, she was not strong. How strong can a high school girl be? She was, on the contrary, very down to earth, caring and brave which most of the readers liked. She did seem stupid but I think it was just a cover up for the comedy.

Moving on, our male lead, Tomoe. His character was very well did. I was not a huge fan of his personality but nonetheless, he was more than enough as the male lead. He was a supernatural being and had committed unspeakable and uncountable crimes in the past. Throughout the story, I sensed that he was bedridden with guilt, though he had no memories of the past. He was the most detailed and mysterious character of the story.

As for the supporting characters, from Mizuki to Kurama as well as Ami, I loved everyone! Their personalities were very well thought. Some of the characters' back stories was also shown.

The art: It was just like any other manga.

The animation was also very good. It was colorful with great graphics and backgrounds.

Overall, the anime / manga was very well done. The story was beautiful with a much deeper meaning. The ending was worth reading. It was one of the best I would say.
