Orange
Okay so, this was my very first anime I watched four years ago. That time, I didn't even know what an anime was, but I watched this anyway as one of my friends had recommended it to me. And I also finished this within two days and, as a result, failed two of my assessments that were taken the very next day.
Naho Takamiya and Kakeru Naruse
Name: Orange
Status: Completed
Seasons: 1
Total episodes: 13
Total chapters: 26
Genres: Romance, Comedy, Slice Of Life
Summary:
Naho Takamiya, a second year high school student, starts to receive letters sent from herself ten years in the future. In those letters, she asks her past self to prevent her biggest regrets from happening. They were about a new transfer student from Tokyo, Kakeru Naruse, whom she had nothing to do with. At first, she treats the letters as some kind of joke but then she realizes that they accurately predicted the all days' events. Naho learns through the letters, that Kakeru commits suicide.

Firstly, I would recommend it to everyone regardless of your age, if you're comfortable with tragedies and mentions of suicide. Secondly, I truly love my friend who recommended it to me because this anime got me entered into the anime world.
The storlyline was so unique and beautiful. I could feel the emotions so strongly throughout the story. The characters are so beautifully and innocently portrayed with stunning personalities. The friendship and the bond between the six characters is fairly presented.
The main characters (namely Naho, Kakeru and Suwa) had very likeable personalities and hearts of gold. The emotions of the character Suwa, which I especially liked, were so thoroughly felt.
The animations were eye pleasing with good graphics. Finally the art. I personally liked the sceneries and the backgrounds. It was not my favourite I should say, but it was pretty beautiful.
Overall, it was worth reading. You enter a completely different world after just a few chapters. It may seem like your average shoujo manga but that's not the case here. I was on the verge of tears while watching the last episode and mind you, I'm not as soft hearted as I may seem. I would give this a ten on a scale of ten.
