You'll get completely frustrated after reading this, but the slow romance between the empress and prince Heinley will cover up for that fact.

So, I'm going to be completely honest, this manga had a very good start. The first chapter was especially what made me read it. It has a cliche plot, the concubine is a trash villainess and tries to harm the empress all the time but the main twist is the emprees, when she asks permission to remarry, which was very unusual in that period of time. The reason I especially like this webtoon is that it shows all aspects of love. It's not the emperor's fault that he fell in love with Trashta (as it was a political marriage) nor is it the empress's fault that she can't make herself give in to the villainess.

What makes my blood boil is that even if the emperor's in love, at least he should respect Naveir, as his legal wife, no matter how much he hates it. He just starts IGNORING the empress after meeting Rashta, which ultimately undermines her authority. And on top of that, she can't even ask for a divorce so she's just stuck up there. I cannot even begin to describe my hatred for the emperor and Trashta.

The art is beautiful. It is pretty much average but kinda unique and different because this is the first time I came across this art style.

The characters are fine overall. Like the character of the empress is a very good one but there are some which are not needed I think. Some characters' stories' are just straightaway unexplained, so we'll have to see and wait for more chapters....

And so, I'm going to end this here,  'cause no one reads my blog anyway :))
