This anime. It is THE BEST I have read so far and believe me, I have read many to say this. I can easily say that it was one of the breathtaking and stunningly beautiful animes which left such a great impact on me. The after effects of watching this anime are pretty intense. The story was not extraordinary but the way it was directed and displayed made it feel like that.

The first few episodes of the anime seemed pretty average to me, Nothing new, I thought. The only thing I liked were the musical pieces which were playing throughout at first. But it was the second episode that got me hooked. The music..... it was just my taste. I was thinking of dropping it after the first episode because of the music tag, as it is an area I don't know very well.

The characters.
All the characters were quite well developed. There were some characters which I felt needed a little bit more development, to understand their problems, and more of limelight. The main characters', however, were very beautifully developed. Their emotions and feelings were very real and touching.

Comedy And Drama
The anime managed to display great humor alongside giving off a bittersweet vibe. The first episodes were mostly based on comedies as there were hints of their pasts. The drama which was needed, fitted very well with the more serious scenes. There were times when comedy was used as an excuse to cover up the more serious scenes, but I think that was totally unnecessary. Nonetheless, I also think it was more than good as it got some good laughs out of me.

Art And Animation
The color palette was very calm and vibrant. I really loved the way some scenes were depicted. It was very colorful throughout. I particularly loved the art when Kaori or Kosei played their instruments.

Extras
I think that all minor characters from Watari to the black cat, every single element played a significant role in the story. I personally think my favourite was Tsubaki as she was the most relatable of all. She
had feelings for Kosei but was unable to express it as she knew his heart was with someone else. Personally, I think Tsubaki should have received more appreciation.

It is overall, very touching and beautiful. The musicals add to the story. You may not love it if you're not a fan of sad themed mangas/animes, but I assure you that you will be shocked by the plot twists and be curious throughout.
